Emilio Vedova 1919-2019
Overview
The exhibition realized by Germano Celant retrace two of the most significant periods of the artist’s career exposing more than 50 artworks: the 60s through “Plutimi” and the 80s through the renowed “Tondi”. At the Royal Palace and the Municipality of Milan took place the Venetian artist’s most important exhibition at the Buffet hall and at the impressive Hall of the Caryatids thanks to the Emilio and Annabianca Vedova’s Foundation.AFS had the pleasure and the honour to suggest, provide and install the lighting fixtures of the entire exhibition. All the products used have different characteristics but with the proper aiming and intensity levels the final result was a special scattered and uniform light.
Germano Celant explains that the aim of the exhibition was to preserve the importance of the environment scenography to bring out both the innovative and radical sides of the Vedova’s linguistic contribution related to the modern and contemporary art.
